Pasta with lemon and shrimp
Ingredients (4 people)
- 300 grams of pasta
- 225 grams of shrimp, washed and peeled
- 3 lemons
- 150 cream cheese or quark
- Basil
- Garlic powder
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Course of action
- To begin with, place a pan over medium heat and add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
- Add shrimp to the pan when hot enough.
- Cook it for 7-10 minutes, then take the prawns off the pan and set them aside.
- Grate the lemons without reaching the white part and cut the rest into small pieces.
- Then add the lemon pieces to the pan and stir to help them release the juice.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil, with enough water to cook the pasta, which is boiled for at least 7 minutes. until it achieves an al dente consistency (right after the white from the paste has disappeared).
- Once the lemons have released their juice, remove them from the pan and add the cream cheese or quark.
- Add a few tablespoons of the pasta’s boiling water for a smoother texture.
